The Story of Grandecco

Hi, I’m Zach Triola, owner of Grandecco! I am a decorative artist based in Huntington, NY. I began my professional career in the arts at SUNY New Paltz, where I studied ceramics, art, and design. While I was there I created light fixtures by hand. Harnessing the soft glow of translucent porcelain, my lighting was designed to evoke a sense of comfort and serenity in our personal living spaces. This work deepened my appreciation for interior design and its ability to shape the ambiance of a room. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I began working as an apprentice to a decorative painter, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in homes across Long Island. Along the way I have taken specialized courses in Venetian plaster and dedicated countless hours to learning about materials and techniques.

Today, I use the principles and expertise I have developed to create beautiful decorative finishes. I started Grandecco with two priorities in mind: to deliver the highest quality luxury finishes with an excellent client experience. I recognize that hiring a contractor can often be stressful and that many people have encountered issues – whether it is unreturned phone calls, damage to their home, being overcharged, or simply unfulfilled promises. My mission is to provide you with exceptional service and a finished product that exceeds your expectations. I am committed to ensuring you are satisfied with every step of the process and excited about the transformation I bring to your home.
